Kates Vacation

Planning

Hi  Kate.

How are you?

Hope all is ok.

apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Your right in thinking that Canggu is an area for co-working.

I have asked around but no calls back as yet. I will chase them up.

In the meantime, if you require a nice hotel at an affordable price I can recommend the Hotel Sinar Indah.

Its only one road behind the beach. The road is not too busy with a nice laid back feel to it. The hotel has two swimming pools. The rooms are nice modern and clean.

At this time Grand Sinar Indah is £20 a night. Please click the  link for up to date prices and availability

Where to go

There are endless choices where to go and what to do.

You can be relaxing by the beach sipping a cool mojito.

Or living in luxury in your own private villa up in the hills looking out over a spectacular canopy of the jungle

Go snorkelling in some of the best places in Asia or trek a volcano in the early hours. The choice is yours

The more time you have the better it will be for you.

Although I can only talk of my own experience I feel it might be best to always remember your here to experience new things and also to relax. A day on the beach is always a good idea.

Suggested Itinerary

On Arrival Stay in Seminyak by the beach.

After a long journey, the last thing you are going to want to do is endure a long drive,

Luckily your first destination is only 40 minutes away.

Seminyak is a great area to begin your time in Bali. With a beautiful long beach. Stretching past Kuta in the direction of the airport. In the other direction in the distance, you can see the great volcano Gunung Agung.

Seminyak Beach is an area of great accommodation. With a more upmarket feel in comparison to the adjoining areas of Legian and Kuta. Seminyak also has some great beach bars.

Check out la plancha or one of the other beach bars. Chill on the beach and watch the spectacular sunset.

The Gili Islands

Although Not an island of Bali I would recommend visiting the Gili islands.

Situated east of Bali. Only 5 hrs away from your hotel are three Islands.

All Three are known for their own different styles of island life. But for all are the same when it comes to transport. All the Gilis have no cars or motorbikes; transportation is push bike or horse and cart.

It’s a truly idyllic life of snorkeling and diving off the reef, with regular sightings of turtles.

Nightlife being favored at the island of Gili Trawangan.

You can easily lose track of time here enjoying the long tranquil days.

A would advise a week here.

I can organize accommodation here direct if you wish with Indigo Bungalows. Only paying for however long you stay. No down payment,

Bali holds endless options. From the many wonderful sites of temples to beautiful beaches learning to dive. Swimming with manta rays and turtles to mountain biking around the volcanic region of Gunung Batur to learning to surf.

whatever you wish we can easily plan.

A suggested itinerary would be

Seminyak / Legian

On arrival stay in the main area of Seminyak and Legian near to the beach. The beach is a fun place to be. learn to surf. Take a cool beer. Join in with locals for a game of football. just enjoy.

Next, stop the Gili islands.
