Hi Liz & Jacob

Apologies for the delay in getting these plans for Bali to you. Hope all is ok.

Please take a look at some of our recommended accommodation.

I suggest with all the restrictions in place at this moment that all accommodation booked be with the rule of

Free  Cancellation. ( Please read the terms and conditions before booking)

What's happening in Bali Now

At this time in Bali, there are plans underway for designated green zones for international travellers.

The chosen areas are Nusa Dua, Sanur and Ubud.

Vaccinations are happening daily here in large amounts. Especially within the designated green areas.

There are a few things to consider when travelling now due to corona.

As the months go by changes will be put in place for easier travel.

I suggest plan and book only accommodation offering free cancellation.

Also to reevaluate travel restrictions by September

At this time restrictions are in place for entry to Indonesia. a visa is a requirement for now.

With restrictions of kind of visa to business and family in Bali.

There is talk of when opening to tourism again the free visa on arrival will be for 60 days not 30 days.

5 days quarantine is still in place on arrival to Indonesia at this time.

A list of hotels to choose from is being circulated.

quarantine is an additional cost to consider.

book your flight avoiding countries listed as a red zone by the UK  government.

Qatar along with many other countries is on the red list.

To avoid quarantine in Jakarta, book a flight that takes you to your first destination in Indonesia as Bali.

Covid testing is required before flights inbound and outbound.

Booking Again

People are beginning to book again for later on in the year and Christmas like your selves.

With changing conditions some people are booking the green zones others are still booking in Seminyak.

Conditions in bail are reasonably normal although very quiet. A limited amount of shops and hotels are open in the Seminyak and the Beachfront is as stunning as ever.

Travel is easy. all taxi drivers have been vaccinated as have hotel staff.

Masks to be warn is law in Indonesia. social distancing followed.

Green zone areas

Nusa Dua

A stunning white sand beachfront. Home to some of the best hotels in Bali.

Check out The Coral underwater restaurant.

A stunning white sand beachfront. Great for kids as the sea is calm here.

Sanur has laid back feel with cafes on the beach. Easy to relax with your feet in the sand with a glass of wine. Also one of the areas nice for cycling. Chill in the day then head to Massimo Italian restaurant for some amazing food. People queue all day one of his Gelato ice creams. Yum

Ubud is found in the hills of bail. known for its art and culture. You can see carvings being made. tour the art galleries and museums, and visit the local art market. In the evening go and experience the legendary legon dance. Traditional Balinese dance is a must.

The scenery around Ubud is stunning. Stay in luxury overlooking the jungle canopy. wake as the mist breaks over the valley to the sounds of the birds. Take a quick dip in your private pool and relax like never before.

Where to go

There are endless choices of where to go and what to do.

You can be relaxing by the beach sipping a cool mojito.

Or living in luxury in your own private villa up in the hills looking out over a spectacular canopy of the jungle

Go snorkeling in some of the best places in Asia or trek a volcano in the early hours and watch the sunrise.

The choice is yours.

The more time you have the better it will be for you.

Although I can only talk of my own experience I feel it might be best to always remember your here to experience new things and also to relax. A day on the beach is always a good idea.

Heading 1

Suggested Itinerary

On Arrival  Stay in Seminyak by the beach.

After a long journey, the last thing you are going to want to do is to endure a long drive,

Luckily your first destination is only 40 minutes away.

Seminyak is a great area to begin your time in Bali. With a beautiful long beach. Stretching past Kuta in the direction of the airport. In the other direction in the distance, you can see the great volcano Gunung Agung.

Seminyak Beach is an area of great accommodation. With a more upmarket feel in comparison to the adjoining areas of Legian and Kuta. Seminyak also has some great beach bars.

Check out la plancha or one of the other beach bars. Chill on the beach and watch the spectacular sunset.

For the time you are here you could probably spend all your time here if you wish and enjoy day trips or overnight trips to various sites around Bali. If that feels right then why not.

Another option I would highly recommend is a stay on the Gili Islands.

The Gili Islands

Although Not an island of Bali I would recommend visiting the Gili islands.

Situated east of Bali. Only 5 hrs away from your hotel are three Islands.

All Three are known for their own different styles of island life. But for all are the same when it comes to transport. All the gilis have no cars or motorbikes; transportation is push bike or horse and cart.

It’s a truly idyllic life of snorkelling and diving off the reef, with regular sightings of turtles.

Nightlife being favoured at the island of Gili Trawangan.

You can easily lose track of time here enjoying the long tranquil days.

A would advise a week here.

I can organise accommodation here direct if you wish with Indigo Bungalows. Only paying for however long you stay. No down payment,
